Our Story - A Message From Our Founder

Born and raised in the Detroit area, I've seen the power of a community of people coming together to support each other. I've been blessed with more than I deserve in life and I've spent my adult life involved with nonprofits dedicated to helping others in less fortunate positions.

I strongly believe that everybody has a cause or causes that speak to them (they often just don't know it yet!). My passion is to connect people with great organizations tackling crucial causes in their community, helping everybody feel the joy and impact that comes from giving back.

Another passion of mine, of course, is awesome wristwatches. I love the way something as simple and as universal as time can be communicated in such a variety of beautiful, creative, and unique ways. Big enough to make a statement yet small enough to take risks, watches have long been my favorite accessory to any outfit.

When the idea hit me to merge my two passions together to start The Good Time Watch Company, a spark lit up in me that I can't even describe. Giving people a fun and personal way to support their favorite causes, and maybe even find new ones, brings me a lot of fulfillment. Each watch we sell tells a story of a great charitable mission and supports that mission directly, with 10% of all sales going to vetted charities working to make a positive impact in Detroit.

The charitable mission of this company is our lifeblood. It keeps us motivated to grow and do more good every single day. It also motivates us to ensure each and every product we sell is of top quality and worthy of representing the wonderful organizations to which we donate.
